PALS for Life at UVAC is a FREE 16-week program for individuals affected by breast cancer, running May 5 – August 20. Based on the Physical Activity and Lymphedema (PAL) Study, the program uses research-backed exercise to help reduce the risk of lymphedema while improving strength, health, and quality of life. Participants receive a free UVAC membership during the program, expert-led sessions twice per week, access to land and aquatic fitness classes, and educational seminars on lymphedema and nutrition through Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Looking for a fun and educational activity for your littlest sailor? Join us on Fridays at 10:30 for Lake Champlain Maritime Museum’s weekly storytime!
Families with young children (recommended age 5 and younger) are invited to gather with a Museum educator in our historic summer camp building, the Roost, as we read some of our favorite stories about Lake Champlain and summer adventures on the water out loud for all to enjoy. Stories will be read as a group and there will also be coloring pages and crafts available afterwards.
Storytime meets every Friday from May 29–October 16. This program is free to attend with no registration required.

The West Windsor Music Festival is the creative endeavor of Artistic Director, Sakiko Ohashi. There's no better place to share the wonders and beauty of chamber music with friends and neighbors. 2026 is the fifth anniverary of the festival, and we have many of our friends and neibors of West windsor and the surrounding area to thank.The West Windsor Music Festival enriches the community through music, friends, and unforgettable gatherings. We thank our many friends in the Brownsville area and the leaders of the community for your support and encouragement of the festival each year. As each festival comes, we add or tweak or add a surprise, but in the end, it is all about the exceptional music.The West Windsor Music Festival is primarily self-funded. Join us for an 8-class series taught by Technology for Tomorrow! Designed to help adult learners build advanced workplace-ready technology skills, BTC's Tier 2 Digital Literacy course is intended for learners who already have basic computer experience and are ready to strengthen their confidence using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, cloud-based tools, and cross-platform navigation. Each 1.5-hour session provides hands-on, practical instruction using Google Drive, Docs, Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, and Slides, with clear connections to how these skills transfer to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. To commemorate this important milestone, the Vermont Historical Society is launching a new exhibit called 50 for 250, a project that is designed to examine the ways that Vermont’s story has evolved over the past 250 years.
50 for 250 will highlight 50 items from our collections that symbolize themes, trends, and moments from the state’s long and proud history. These items are the focus of intensive research and scholarship by VHS staff and invited scholars, and will be part of a major exhibit that will open on Friday, July 3rd, 2026. Admission will be free for the opening.
Brandon’s Favorite Day of the Year!!
Celebrate Independence Day on Friday, July 3, 2026 in Brandon, a small town in central Vermont with free events planned all day. Activities include the grand parade, bands in the parks, contests, beer garden, auction, street dance and fireworks at dusk.
Brandon has a beautifully revitalized streetscape, downtown parks and waterfalls, historic architecture, quaint shops, and lodging and restaurant options. Brandon sits between lakes and mountains nearby Moosalamoo National Recreation Area and Branbury State Park.

Celebrate America 250 in Morristown with a full day of Fourth of July festivities in the heart of the Lamoille Valley, just minutes from Stowe. Visitors and locals alike can enjoy a patriotic parade at 11:00 AM, followed by community activities, local food, and small-town charm throughout the day. The celebration continues at Oxbow Park starting at 5:30 PM with live music by Red Hot Juba, food and craft vendors, family-friendly activities, and a fireworks display at dusk. A perfect summer day to experience Vermont community spirit.
