The soul of Mama Afrika meets the fire of Motown and soul in a pint-sized powerhouse.
Nomfusi is one of South Africa’s most sought-after performers. Immense in voice and presence, she brings charm and intensity to every stage.
Often compared to a young Miriam Makeba with a touch of Tina Turner, the multiple SAMA and Metro FM Award nominee blends her African heritage with the soul and Motown sounds she grew up with. Her performances are cathartic and electrifying, praised worldwide for their raw emotional force.
Nomfusi has shared the stage with Lionel Richie at Germany’s Stimmen Festival and was selected to portray Miriam Makeba in Long Walk to Freedom, the Nelson Mandela biopic described by The Hollywood Reporter as “the largest South African production ever mounted.”
With his signature beard and African headgear, Billy F. Gibbons is instantly recognizable and best known as the centerpiece of ZZ Top.
BFG is widely regarded as one of the world’s finest guitarists working in the blues-rock idiom. The sound originates from the uncanny knack to squeeze unheard of sounds out of the electric guitar with the blues, pop, R&B, country, gospel, western, hillbilly and West Africa. That BFG down ‘n dirty growl is unmistakable heard on such hits as “La Grange,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” and “Cheap Sunglasses."
Billy F. Gibbons is much more than an iconic guitar slinger with a monumental length of chin whiskers… He’s an internationally recognized collector of guitars and cars, noted in the best-selling book, Rock + Roll Gearhead.

Billy’s solo album releases, the Afro-Cuban flavored Perfectamundo, the bluesy, The Big Bad Blues, and the hard rockin, Hardware all represent what he refers to as the “Three T’s”: Tone, Taste and Tenacity. BFG is truly a highly regarded Renaissance man.

Pete Francis is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for blending eclectic genres and collaborating across the musical spectrum. Initially one-third of the legendary New England indie band Dispatch, Pete and the group sold over 700,000 albums and achieved monumental live success, including five sell-outs at Madison Square Garden and a record-breaking 100,000-person crowd at Boston’s Hatch Shell. During Dispatch’s near decade-long hiatus, Pete launched a solo career in 2001, releasing seven albums through his Dragon Crest Collective label and establishing himself as an emotive and dynamic artist.
Following Dispatch’s reunion in 2011, Pete balanced solo projects with his band role. In 2019, he left Dispatch to fully embrace his solo career. His 2023 album PTRN SKY! marked a major shift as his first self-recorded and self-produced effort. The album blends vibrant electronic beats with his signature style and was recorded in his home studio alongside Grammy-winning producer Scott Jacoby. Since then, he’s released several home-recorded singles and EPs, including Neon Light Blind, the self-titled Pete Francis EP, and Hurricane Candle, a heartfelt tribute to his late father.
As of 2025, Pete is gearing up for new releases, including remixes of his Summer 2024 hit Smile, featuring G. Love and Demarco, and an upcoming album with producer Mikey Bar-Lavi. He’s also regularly performing at iconic New York and New England venues, where he continues to connect with both longtime fans and new listeners.

“A Mongol without a horse is like a bird without wings.” That proverb comes close to articulating the importance of horses in Mongolia, whose people are outnumbered by its horses. Were it not for horses, Mongolian/American folk-fusion trio Tuvergen Band (“galloping” in Mongolian) may not exist, either.
Tamir Hargana (lead vocals, folk lutes, morin khuur), Naizal Hargana (morin khuur, vocals), and Brent Roman (percussion, didgeridoo, vocals) first met in Lexington, where Tamir and Naizal moved in part because of the horse culture surrounding the Kentucky Derby. Years later, the three musicians reunited in Chicago, where they are now based, to play what they call “modern nomadic music”—an exhilarating sound indebted to Mongolian and Tuvan traditions but inflected with bluegrass sensibilities, blues instrumental flourishes, hard-driving rock rhythms, and more.
As the most-played group/band on Country Radio in 2023, Parmalee is one of Country Music’s most successful acts with five #1 singles, multiple platinum records, and over 1 biliion on-demand streams.
Comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar & drums respectively), cousin Barry Knox (bass), and life-long friend Josh McSwain (guitar/keyboard) the North Carolina natives first topped the charts with “Carolina” followed by their platinum certified No. 1 single with Blanco Brown, “Just the Way.” They followed with “Take My Name,” Billboard’s Most Played Country Song of 2022. They scored their 3rd consecutive #1 single with “Girl in Mine,” Billboard’s 8th Most Played Country Song of 2023. They closed out 2024 with their fourth consecutive #1 “Gonna Love You.” Parmalee kicked off their new “Fell In Love With A Cowgirl” Tour in February, hitting stages across North America in 2025, before dropping their latest album of the same name on April 4th.

The power of Ann Wilson’s voice meets the spirit of classic rock in a performance that brings the house down.
Heartless is the only tribute dedicated exclusively to the music and performances of Ann Wilson of Heart. Led by vocalist Jasmine White, the band captures the soaring range and emotional intensity that made Wilson one of rock’s most iconic voices. From Heart’s chart-topping anthems to the Led Zeppelin songs Wilson famously interpreted on tour, Heartless delivers each song with undeniable stage presence. Complete in character and adorned with original stage-worn attire from Ann Wilson herself, White delivers a performance that is both authentic and unforgettable.
Opening the night is Nothingsafe: An Alice in Chains Experience. Fronted by Seattle-based Layne Staley tribute vocalist SteveO, the band channels the raw and timeless depth of Alice in Chains’ catalog with unflinching intensity, setting the stage for a powerful night of rock.
Renee Rosnes, pianist/leader of jazz quintet, Artemis, is a creative, technically dazzling and intelligent pianist. Her husband is masterful jazz eminence Bill Charlap. When they perform together, each on their own grand piano, “Neither pianist compromises their artistic inclinations…, instead merging effortlessly to create a tapestry of refined and tasteful statements.” (All About Jazz) Theirs is a performance best experienced in the intimate surroundings of the UVM Recital Hall.
Cellist, vocalist, and composer Queralt Giralt Soler brings her deeply expressive trio to the stage for an evening of genre-blurring original music and reimagined works. Blending classical training with Catalan folk traditions, jazz, and contemporary sounds, she weaves cello and voice into an intimate, singular musical language. Joined by Mahya Hamedi (piano, percussion, vocals) and Bahar Badiei (oud, vocals), the trio performs Giralt Soler’s compositions alongside inspired interpretations of music by Hermeto Pascoal and Paco de Lucía—lyrical, adventurous, and deeply personal.
