Vermont Public is an independent, locally owned and operated community licensee, which means that our license is owned by the community, not a university or a governmental agency. The majority of our funding comes from individual members, local business sponsors and foundations. More than 70% of our revenue goes directly back into our news, music, cultural and educational programming.
