Feb. 6 | Legacy and Lineage: A punk rock conversation with Bobby Hackney Sr. & Bobby Hackney Jr.
Join us for a live taping of Homegoings, featuring father-and-son punk rock icons Bobby Hackney Sr. (Death) and Bobby Hackney Jr. (Rough Francis). In an intimate and wide-ranging conversation, the Hackneys will dig into legacy, family, and what it’s meant to carve out space as Black artists in punk rock. They’ll share stories from their recent journey to Africa, reflect on the power of ancestry and belonging, and trace the throughline from proto-punk to today.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness a candid, intergenerational dialogue between two iconic voices in punk history.
After the taping, stick around. We’ll keep the energy going with snacks from Onion City City Chicken & Oyster, a live DJ set from Bobby Hackney Jr., and time to hang.
