Under new leadership for 2026 comes a revitalized Danville Farmers Market with the community at heart. We'll have food cooking Brazilian style over an open flame, fresh produce, plant starts, maple, meat, rotating community organizations and activities, kid's events, and more. Come gather with us and see what life is like in Danville.

Part of the Jane Austen weekend at The Governor's House, the tea is open to the public. Although this is a full English afternoon tea made popular during the Victorian Era with scones, jam, clotted cream, finger sandwiches, and tea cakes, there will be readings and discussion of tea the way Jane Austen would have enjoyed it during the Regency Period.

The 25th Gilfeather Turnip Festival and Gilfeather Turnip Contest will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m in Wardsboro, VT. Free admission. Rain or shine! Locations are at the Town Hall, the Wardsboro Public Library and the Big Tent – all on Main Street.
This is America’s best turnip culinary event, showcasing Vermont's state vegetable! Join the whole town for Gilfeather turnip soup at the outdoor soup kiosk, turnip flavored treats, farmers’ market, craft vendors, children’s games, 1000+ lbs of turnip, library book sale and turnip seeds. Also on sale are turnip-themed gifts, and much more. Enter the Turnip Contest! Parking $5 donation.
