The midterm general elections are fast approaching, and VPR is featuring interviews with candidates running for statewide office. Charles Laramie is an independent running in the gubernatorial race.
Laramie is a former public school teacher. He wrote an op-ed last year about his frustrations with the classroom environment, which made waves around the state.
Laramie spoke about how he would change the education system in Vermont, as well as about recreational marijuana and the state’s practice of sending several hundred inmates to out-of-state prisons.
