Gadan featuring Enda Scahill of We Banjo 3
Referring to themselves as “Irish Music. American Flavor. Italian Seasoning”, Italian musicians Gadan are practitioners of a relatively new genre dubbed “Celtgrass”, the merging of Irish traditional music and Americana. In 2024, they were joined by Enda Scahill, tenor banjo legend and founder of We Banjo 3. With the addition of Eric Long, a clawhammer banjoist and singer-songwriter originally from the mountainous heart of Pennsylvania – a region deeply rooted in Appalachian tradition – they have further expanded their dynamic and diverse musical identity.
