Benefit Motorcycle Ride for William's Syndrome
Benefit Motorcycle Ride for William's Syndrome
Williams syndrome (WS) is a genetic condition that is present at birth and can affect anyone. It is characterized by medical problems, including cardiovascular disease, developmental delays, and learning challenges. These often occur side by side with striking verbal abilities, highly social personalities, and an affinity for music. WS occurs equally in males and females and in all cultures worldwide. WS is very rare syndrome affecting about 1 in 10,000 people. Individuals with WS often require specialized medical care, (requiring frequent medical and therapy visits many out of state and a lot of out-of-pocket medical expenses), and lifelong support. May is William’s Syndrome Awareness Month.
Please join Freedom Vermont V-Twins Cruisers for this benefit ride – 15% of proceeds will go to two local families with children with WS and the rest to Williams Syndrome Association.
