Children wait with their father in a line spanning several blocks in order to be tested for COVID-19, Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, at a Curative testing kiosk outside an elementary school in Northwest Washington, D.C. The family said they were testing the children as a precaution due to cold symptoms.

Live call-in discussion: Vermont's first case of the omicron variant of COVID-19 was reported over the weekend. That mutation of the coronavirus now represents nearly three out of every four cases of COVID-19 in the country. This hour, we talk with Health Commissioner Dr. Mark Levine about how Vermont is dealing with the ongoing delta surge, and is preparing for omicron.

Broadcast live on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
