Gov. Phil Scott delivered his 2020 budget address to lawmakers Tuesday. We're diving into the details of those proposals with a roundtable of Vermont political reporters.
In his speech, the governor focused on Vermont's demographic crisis as the top challenge facing the state. He also laid out his biggest proposals for the year, like $3 million to boost childcare subsidies and an expansion of gambling and the state lottery to help fund it.
