There's Music In Those Snowy Hills!

Ladysmith Black Mambazo, performing this week in Burlington

The snow is snowing, the wind is blowing, strings are strumming, and all this music has got me humming!

This program will air on Sunday February 3rd from 7-10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

On Thursday, February 7th from 6 - 8 p.m. Carol Hausner and Mark Struhsacker will be playing at Bagitos in Montpelier.

World music star Daby Toure will be playing at the Lamp Club Light Shop in Burlington every Wednesday evening during the entire month of February.

Pete's Posse will be performing at the Cabot Town Hall on Sunday February 10th at 4 p.m.

Ladysmith Black Mambazo will be performing on the Flynn Mainstage in Burlington on Monday February 4th at 7:30 p.m.

The Aerialists with Les Poules à Colin will be playing on Sunday, February 10th at Petit Campus on Prince Arthur East in Montreal. 

On Friday, February 8th, Rick Norcross will be playing at the Carpenter-Carse Library in Hinesburg. It’s a free show starting at 6:30 pm.

The Dave Keller Band will be performing at the Burnham Music Series at Burnham Hall in Lincoln on Saturday, February 9th  at 7:30 p.m.

Bluegrass Gospel Project alums Taylor Armerding, Andy Greene, and Kirk Lord have regrouped as the Revenants. They will be playing at the Music Box in Craftsbury on Saturday February 9th at 7:30 p.m.

Singer/songwriter Melissa D will be performing at Brandon Music on Saturday February 9th at 7:30 p.m.

There will be a contra dance at Tracy Hall in Norwich on Saturday February 9th with Nils Friedland calling and with live music provided by the band Blind Squirrel

Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters will be playing at the Chandler in Randolph on Saturday February 9th at 7:30 p.m.

Robert Resnik was the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, from 1996 to 2025. He was the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and was the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
