Effort Increases To Combat Financial Scams

Identity theft, financial fraud and other scams are sometimes tough to uncover and older people are often the victims of this kind of abuse. We look at the work that the Vermont's Attorney General's Office and the state AARP chapter are doing to prevent scams perpetrated against elderly people. Our guests are Attorney General Bill Sorrell and Greg Marchildon, president of Vermont AARP, who are participating in a regional "day of action" on this issue in Boston on Thursday.

Also in the program, Vermont reaction to the national debates Wednesday night among the Republican candidates for president. CNN hosted two debates for two tiers of candidates in the Republican primary. We talk with VTGOP Chairman Dave Sunderland about who stood out.
