A marshy pond is the perfect spot for catching frogs, trying not to spook them, then scooping one into your hands and peeking between your fingers just enough to see the little guy before he jumps away. On the next Vermont Edition, we learn about the amphibians and reptiles that hang out (or hide!) in the landscapes all around us, including an endangered rattlesnake that's suffering from a fungus and a new crossing that will help salamanders in Monkton. Our guest is herpetologist Jim Andrews, who coordinates the Vermont Reptile and Amphibian Atlas.
