The 5th annual “ MAD PIE HOEDOWN,” a fundraising event for Transition Town Montpelier region’s “Villagebuilding Convergence,” will be happening at the Plainfield Community Center on Sat. April 26th at 7:30 p.m.  The event will include a contradance featuring the music of Aaron Marcus and Joanne Garten, and the famous pie auction. Come donate a pie, bid on a pie, have fun and dance the night away.

Lissa Schneckenburger , fiddler & folk singer, and Molly Gawler, dance maker, will be giving a Food Security Collaborative Benefit Concert at the Immanuel Retreat Center in Bellows Falls on Sat. April 26th at 7:30 p.m.

Old Songs will present  Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas, on Fri. April 25th at 8:00 pm at 37 South Main Street, Voorheesville, NY.

Bagitos in Montpelier presents their weekly Irish session on Sat. April 26th from 2:00-5:00 p.m.  Featured musicians will include Sarah Blair, Benedict Koehler, Hillari Farrington, Katrina VanTyne, and many others.

Robin & Linda Williams and Their Fine Group will perform at the Town Hall Theater in Woodstock on Sat. April 26th at 7:30 p.m.

Champlain Valley Traditional Arts presents MATT & SHANNON HEATON at the Black Box Theatre, Main Street Landing in Burlington on Sat. Apr 26th at 6:30 p.m.

McBride & Lussen will be at The Bee's Knees in Morrisville on Fri. April 25th at 7:30 p.m.

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
