Exchange Opens, Government Shuts Down

VPR/Charlotte Albright

Fri 10/4/13 at Noon & 7PM: The health care exchange launched in Vermont, and the federal  government began a partial shutdown amidst a budget fight in Congress.  The week's two biggest stories are closely tied together, and we unravel the details Friday on Vermont Edition.

Our guests are some of the top reporters in the state:  David Gram of the Associated Press, Paul Heintz of Seven Days and Nancy Remsen of the Burlington Free Press. And political analyst Eric Davis of Middlebury College joins us to look at the political fallout.
