As recent as a few decades back, many may have scoffed at the notion that the common birds flying among us are in fact close living relatives of the dinosaurs that roamed the earth over 60 million years ago.
Now a new exhibit at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science, called Birds Are Dinosaurs, will captivate a new generation of kids, and more than one or two adults, with the true origins of dinosaurs.
Charlie Rattigan, executive director of the Vermont Institute of Natural Science, joined Vermont Edition to talk about the exhibit that opened in early May.
