Wallingford's Bosch Prepares For Channel Swim

Wallingford's Bethany Bosch hopes to follow in the wake of Florence Chadwick (above) of San Diego who swam across the English Channel in 1951.

Last September, Wallingford long-distance swimmer Bethany Bosch was one of two people to swim the length of Lake Memphremagog. That swim was one step in her preparation for an even bigger goal – to swim the English Channel.

Bosch is planning to swim the Channel in just a couple of weeks and before she leaves Vermont, she checked in with Vermont Edition on the logistics of the attempt.
