Each year, Hildene in Manchester gives an award to a Vermonter who is committed to historic conservation and land conservation. The recipient is given the privilege of donating the large cash award to the project of his or her choice.
This year’s award was shared by two recipients: Sarah Dopp of the South Burlington Land Trust and Paul Bruhn of Preservation Trust of Vermont. They have decided to donate the $10,000 cash prize to the Vermont Marble Museum in Proctor.
Paul Bruhn spoke with Vermont Edition about the award and the future of the Museum.
