Vermont Choral Union: Handel's Messiah
The Vermont Choral Union presents Handel's holiday favorite with internationally acclaimed soloists and orchestra of baroque instruments.
The Vermont Choral Union, directed by Eric Milnes, is set to enthrall audiences with their performance of George Frideric Handel’s timeless sacred oratorio, Messiah, for three performances, two on Sunday December 14th and one on Sunday December 21st.
The Choral Union partners with Montréal's two-time Juno Award-winning baroque Ensemble L'Harmonie des Saisons in three remarkable performances, bringing the magnificent sacred work alive with period 18th century instruments, offering audiences the opportunity to experience it as it was conceived by Handel and heard in the 18th century.
The College Street Congregational Church in Burlington and Holy Angels Church in St. Albans offer the perfect venues and acoustics to enjoy this extraordinary performance "up close and personal."
The choir will present three performances: Sunday, December 14 at 4pm and 7:30pm at College Street Congregational Church in Burlington, and Sunday, December 21 at 4pm at Holy Angels Catholic Church in St. Albans.
