Frigg with Teho.

Frigg with Teho.

Hailing from Finland and celebrated worldwide, Frigg is one of the most exhilarating and innovative bands in contemporary folk music. This sizzling Nordic sextet are true masters of the Finnish folk tradition, delivering heart-bursting, life-affirming tunes with astonishing precision and joy.

Named after the Norse goddess of love and fertility, Frigg have forged their own unmistakable sound—“Nordgrass”—a captivating fusion of Nordic folk and American bluegrass. The result is music that feels both ancient and fresh, equally beloved by folk, world, and classical audiences. Their signature violin-driven sound, propelled by ringing strings and the deep pulse of double bass, is hypnotic, infectious, and irresistibly dance-worthy.

Teho. is a Finnish power-fiddle duo rooted in Nordic folk traditions yet unafraid to push musical boundaries. Hailing from Central Ostrobothnia—a region renowned for its rich folk music culture—Tero Hyväluoma and Esko Järvelä blend Finnish fiddling, Norwegian Halling, Swedish Polska, Bebop, Western Swing, and contemporary folk into a seamless, dynamic sound.
