Choosing Scarcity or Abundance: Reimagining Vermont’s Economy

Why is it so hard to find housing in Vermont, retain workers, or keep up with the rising cost of living? And more importantly, what can we do about it?

On Monday, September 29 at 6:30pm, join Kevin Chu, Executive Director of the Vermont Futures Project, at the Pierson Library for a timely conversation about Vermont's economic future. Kevin will present the organization's Economic Action Plan, exploring the real data behind our labor shortages, demographic shifts, housing crisis, and cost-of-living challenges, and what's at stake if we don't act.

This free, one-hour event isn't just about problems, it's about solutions. You'll hear a bold but practical vision for how communities, businesses, policymakers, and individuals can work together to build a more resilient and equitable Vermont.
