A study at UVM Medical Center is looking into the impact of long COVID on people here in Vermont.

Live call-in discussion: There are a number of ways to describe the experience of those who have had COVID-19 and remain symptomatic months after testing positive: long COVID, chronic COVID, or, as the World Health Organization announced Wednesday, post COVID-19 condition. This hour, we hear from a UVM Medical Center doctor who is studying the impact of long COVID on people here in Vermont. We also learn about a support group for those with long COVID, also known as “long-haulers."

Broadcast live on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
