A preview of the upcoming Peacham Acoustic Music Festival, other exciting live performances in the VPR listening area, and much much more.

This week's calendar announcements:


The Peacham Acoustic Music Festival next weekend features Bob Amos & Catamount Crossing, Jim Rooney, Pete's Posse, Annie and the Hedonists, the Bayley Hazen Boys, and many more. John, Lila & Ida Mae Specker will perform a fiddle and banjo concert for the community from 3-5 pm on Saturday, August 17th at the Andover, Vt, Town Hall. There is no admission charge. Village Harmony Teen World Music Ensemble are giving six concerts this week in and around the VPR listening area. For more information check their

Judy Collins will be performing at the Cafe Lena in Saratoga Springs on Monday August 12th at 7 p.m.

Mayfly will be playing at the Waterbury Breakfast Club, 18 Elm St., Waterbury on Sunday, August 18th– 10am-1pm

Beg Steal or Borrow will be performing on Wednesday August 14th from 6-8pm at Shelburne Farms in Shelburne, on Thursday August 15th at Green Mountain Bluegrass and Roots in Manchester, and on Saturday August 17th at the Orleans County Fair in Barton.
Les Poules a Colin will be playing on Thursday, August 15th at 5 the Feast and Field Market in Barnard.

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
