20 Years Of Starline Rhythm And Adieu Daylight Saving Time!

Congratulations to Vermont''s own Starline Rhythm Boys, celebrating 20 years together with a featured performance this week at the Chandler in Randolph ! Also some interesting new releases and some old favorites....

This program will air on Sunday October 28th from 7 - 10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

Adirondack balladeer Roy Hurd will perform at Plattsburgh's Palmer St. Coffeehouse on Friday November 2nd at 7:30 p.m.

The Music Box in Craftsbury presents Cookie's Hot Club on Saturday November 3rd at 7:30 p.m.

The Ripton Community Coffeehouse presents Dana and Susan Robinson Saturday November 3rd at 7:30 p.m.

P.M. Sundays presents Muriel Anderson at the Richmond Congregational Church on Sunday November 4th at 4 p.m.

There will be a contra dance featuring music from Fennig’s All Stars at Old Songs in Voorheesville, NY on Saturday November 3rd at 7 p.m. Paul Rosenberg will be the caller.

The Social Band will present a 20th anniversary concert series in November with performances this week on Saturday November 3rd at the Richmond Free Library at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday November 4th at 3 p.m. at the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington.

The Michele Fay Band will be performing at The United Church of Westford on Sunday November 4th at 7:00 p.m. This event is free.

Irish fiddler Liam O’Connor and multi-instrumentalist John Blake will perform at the Burlington Violin Shop on Monday October 29th at 6 p.m.

Cabot Arts and Concerts at the Schoolhouse Presents a Halloween concert to benefit Cabot Arts with Bon Démerras, a High-Energy Quebecois Trio from Montreal on Wednesday, October 31st at the Cabot Town Hall Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30pm - Music starts at 7:00pm.

The Deborah Rawson Memorial Library in Jericho presents Phil Henry on Sunday November 4th at 2 p.m.

The Chandler Music Hall in Randolph presents the Starline Rhythm Boys on Saturday November 3rd at 7:30 p.m.

 

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
