Burlington, Montpelier, and Winooski are all at various points in the process of becoming so-called "sanctuary cities," with South Burlington in discussions as well. So what does that mean?
We're talking about what the label of sanctuary city means for policy, and how it fits into the landscape of immigration and law enforcement across the state and the country.
Joining us is Burlington immigration attorney Leslie Holman. We'll also hear from Will Lambek of Migrant Justice, and Mayor Joseph Curtatone of Somerville, Massachusetts, which has been a sanctuary city since 1987.
