Progressive Legislative Update

Universal health care is one fo the Progressive Party's legislative priorities.

Among the Progressive Party's main initiatives this year in the Legislature are property tax reform, universal health care, and balancing the budget priorities of the state with the need to raise new revenue.

We speak with Winooski Representative Diana Gonzalez, Burlington Representative Chris Pearson and Washington County Senator Anthony Pollina about how these issues are faring at the Statehouse.

Also on the program, Vermont Congressman Peter Welch is about to join the Presidential delegation that will visit Cuba. This is Welch's third visit to the island country. We hear about his goals for the trip and his interest in normalizing relations with Cuba.
