2015 has been a deadly year for bicyclists and motorcyclists in Vermont.

It has been a deadly year for bicyclists and motorcyclists in Vermont. In the past 10 years, one bicyclist was killed in Vermont. But already in 2015, there have been four bicycle-related fatalities.

In addition, on average, roughly nine motorcyclists are killed every year. The state has already reached that number in the first eight months of this year.

We'll discuss what steps the state is taking to improve safety for those on two-wheels and to promote public awareness among drivers with Emily Boedecker, executive director of Local Motion, and Patrick McManamon, a Department of Motor Vehicles motorcycle safety instructor.

Plus, Congressman Peter Welch shares his thoughts on President Obama's nuclear deal with Iran.

Broadcast live on Friday, September 11, 2015, at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
