In the last month, a number of drivers have been clocked driving over a hundred miles per hour on the interstate.

Vermont highway safety officials are concerned about the number of people driving on the interstate well beyond the speed limit. In just the last month a number of drivers have been clocked at over a hundred miles per hour.

We're discussing excessive speeding, as well as why distracted driving is still a big problem, with Scott Davidson - chief of the state Highway Safety Program - and Lt. Garry Scott - head of the Vermont State Police Traffic Team.

Also on the program, we'll talk with retired Middlebury College political science professor Eric Davis about the busy week in politics - for both the gubernatorial and presidential races.

Broadcast live on Friday, September 4, 2015, at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.

Bob Kinzel has been covering the Vermont Statehouse since 1981 — longer than any continuously serving member of the Legislature. With his wealth of institutional knowledge, he answers your questions on our series, "Ask Bob."
