Dave Van Ronk, Jimmie Rodgers, and a preview of the upcoming 23rd annual New World Festival in Randolph!

This week's calendar announcements:

The 23rd Annual New World Festival will be held On Sunday September 6th in downtown Randolph. Featured performers include Troy MacGillivray, Andrea Beaton, Pete’s Posse, Le Bruit Court Dans La Ville, Mayfly, Dan Houghton, and many many more…music begins at noon

Lisa Ornstein, Normand Miron, and André Marchand are truly legends of Quebec’s traditional music scene.  They will be playing at the East Montpelier Four Corners Schoolhouse, a lovely, intimate venue, on Thursday evening, Sept. 3rd.   There will be a pre-concert pot luck 6pm followed by the concert at 7:30 and a jam session afterwards.

Troy MacGillivray returns to the Nelson, NH Town Hall with acclaimed Cape Breton fiddler Andrea Beaton on Thursday, September 3rd for a 7:30 p.m. show.

Dan and Willy Lindner will perform at the Old Firehouse in Tinmouth on Saturday September 5th at 7 p.m.

The Dave Keller Band will perform at the Spruce Peak performing arts center in Stowe on Saturday September 5th at 8 p.m.

The Sierra Leone Refugee All-Stars will be at the Colonial Theater in Bethlehem, NH on Friday September 4th at 8 p.m.

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
