We warm it up as Valentine's Day approaches, preview the 28th annual Dance Flurry in Saratoga, and, as always, enjoy some of the best local music being produced anywhere!

Lewis Franco will be performing at the Whammy Bar in Calais on Saturday, February 14th at 7pm
The Ed Larkin Contra Dancers will hold an Open House dance at the Tunbridge VT Town Hall on Friday February 13th 7:30 p.m. Live Music, refreshments at intermission.
Ida Mae Specker and her band kick off 'Bluegrass Thursday' at Nectar's in Burlington on February 12th, at 10:00 p.m., followed by Burlington favorite The Tenderbellies.
John Specker and Ida Mae Specker present a Concert of Old-Time Fiddle and Banjo Music on Sunday, February 15th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Andover, VT, Town Hall.
The Michele Fay Band will be performing for the Burnham Music Series at Burnham Hall, 52 River Rd. in Lincoln, on Saturday, February 14th. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
Tom MacKenzie and Patti Casey, also known as Shady Rill, will play at The Music Box in Craftsbury on Saturday February 14th at 7:30 p.m.
The 28th annual Flurry festival is on President’s Weekend and runs from February 13th to the 15th in Saratoga Springs, NY. The Festival’s headquarter are the Saratoga Springs City Center and the Saratoga Hilton Hotel, with more performances and workshops scheduled at Saratoga Music Hall, Café Lena, The Parting Glass Pub, and a special Saturday night only concert at The Putnam Den.
On Sunday February 15th Becky Tracy & the Murphy Boys, consisting of Keith Murphy along with Becky & Keith’s son Aiden, will light up Gethsemane Church in Proctorsville for the last Raise the Roof concert of the season. The concert begins at 4:00 p.m.
The second half of The Barre Opera House’s 2014-15 TD Bank Celebration Series kicks off with FullSet, the Emerald Isle’s hottest new traditional group, on Saturday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m.
Antibalas and Zap Mama will perform on Monday February 9th at the Latchis Theater in Brattleboro and Tuesday, February 10th at Fuller Hall, St. Johnsbury Academy, in St. J.
On Saturday, February 14th, the Sky Blue Boys: Banjo Dan and Willy Lindner, will perform at the Adamant Methodist Church. The music will start at 7 p.m. with an optional potluck starting at 5:30 before the show.
