Vermont’s Department for Children and Families has been dealing with a series of unsettling problems brought to light by the deaths of two toddlers under DCF supervision. Now, a new commissioner is working through those issues and figuring out what changes might need to be made to keep children safe. DCF Commissioner Ken Schatz is our guest to discuss these issues and take your calls.
Also in the program, what do you know about your town forest? We talk with Chittenden County forester Keith Thomspon about this weekend's summit for officials from the 125 town forests around the state.
