Back in 1989, Italians marched in the street carrying bowls of pasta to protest a proposed McDonalds in Rome. From there, the Slow Food Movement was born. Slow food is nurtured in the kitchen, savored at the table and shared among friends. Candace Page, who writes for the Savorvore Section of the Burlington Free Press, talks about how the Slow Food Movement is catching on in Vermont.
