When someone commits suicide, the tragedy reverberates throughout the community. Family members and friends are often left wondering what they could have done to prevent it.
Wednesday (Nov. 6 at Noon and 7PM), Dr. Jill Harkavy-Friedman, senior director of research for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, and Dr. JoEllen Tarallo-Falk, executive director of the Center for Health and Learning in Brattleboro, discuss the causes of suicide, what can be done to prevent it, how to talk to someone about it and the programs that are available in Vermont for those who have contemplated suicide.
