Painter Pam Swing of Brookline wrote in to Art Hounds about the same exhibit, saying, "I walked into this gallery for the first time. I had driven by it many times going between Killington and Sugarbush as I am a ski race mom as well as an artist. I was always curious about the place. The exterior is like a giant hobbit house- I was blown away by this show and I am an ex- New Yorker art snob!"
Young actor and singer Addie Bateman urges listeners to attend a night out with Next Stage Arts for Putney Vaudeville.
Laurie Counter of Middlebury and Vergennes landscape designer Susan Davis called the VPR Art Hounds hotline to recommend the grand opening of the Outerlands Gallery on Green Street in Vergennes.
The opening is this Saturday, as part of the Open Studios Weekend, from 10:30 till 7.
Eve Gagne of Johnson wrote in to Art Hounds about the 15th annual student art exhibit at Bishop Marshall School in Morrisville.
She wrote, "The young talent that is exposed at this event captivates audiences from all around. Every year, students develop their work along a theme--this year it is cities--and transform the halls and the gym into a gallery of children's art."
