Governor Shumlin Reflects On Legislative Session

AP/Toby Talbot

Mon 5/20/13Noon & 7 pm  After laying out his priorities in January, Governor Peter Shumlin saw some of his agenda items approved by the State Legislature and others given scant attention. We speak with Governor about how he assesses the just-completed session – where he thinks he succeeded and where he thinks he failed. And what he hopes to accomplish in the second year of the biennium.

Update: During the program, Governor Shumlin offered to supply a document from the House income tax proposal to support his assertion that half of the Vermonters who would see higher taxes under this proposal would be earning less than $100,000. Here is that Income Tax Reform Document.
