The Supreme Court of the United States will take up the question of gay marriage later this month, prompting Vermont leaders to file friend of the court briefs. The court also just heard oral arguments on the Voting Rights Act, which has implications for New Hampshire. Meanwhile, Vermont's Attorney General's office is cautioning lawmakers about the legal defense of a proposed GMO labeling law, and legal exemptions to vaccine rules for kids. We wrap of all of these legal issues facing Vermonters in a discussion with Vermont Law School professor Cheryl Hanna.
