A national group promoting the legalization of marijuana is targeting Vermont as a state that could regulate and tax marijuana in the coming years.  Governor Peter Shumlin says he supports the legalization of marijuana, but he doesn’t think lawmakers should consider the bill during the 2014 session.

The state of Vermont is going to use solar power to run 10 state office buildings across the state, including all seven Vermont prisons.

Burlington has a brand-new farmers market on Wednesday afternoons through September.  It’s in same location as the big Saturday market, but this one is different.

The Vermont Health Department says a second Franklin County horse has died of the mosquito-borne illness, Eastern Equine Encephalitis.
