Vermont Secretary of State Jim Condos has been elected to an office with the National Association of Secretaries of State.

The U-S Environmental Protection Agency has approved a plan that gets Vermont into compliance with the Clean Water Act, but the EPA says the state still has to address the contentious issue of who pays to upgrade sewage treatment plants.

A community performance space in Brattleboro is coming under new ownership, with the Strolling of the Heifers taking over the Robert H. Gibson River Garden gathering space.

Lynne worked for Vermont Public from 2002 to 2022 as a producer/reporter for special news projects.
Peter was a Producer/Announcer at VPR until 2015. He began his public radio career in 2007 at WHQR-FM in Wilmington, North Carolina where he served as Morning Edition host and reporter, covering county government and Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base. His work has won several Associated Press awards and has appeared on NPR's All Things Considered, Weekend Edition, and PRI's This American Life. A graduate of the creative writing program at the University of Maine at Farmington, Peter enjoys writing, cooking and traveling.
