The Vermont Department of Health said Tuesday evening three Vermonters who had symptoms consistent with COVID-19 had all tested negative. The department notes the risk of novel coronavirus to the American public generally remains low.
The health department is also working to identify anyone who might have had recent contact with a New Hampshire resident who tested positive for the disease.
The New Hampshire resident was at a private event at the Engine Room in White River Junction Friday night. The department reports the individual was under New Hampshire officials’ direction to self-isolate, but attended the event.
