In 2019, VPR's website provided its audience with a timeline of "bureaucracy," deeply personal photos of a refugee family's life, live storm updates, a legislative bill tracker and results of Vermont's only statewide poll on rural issues.
VPR’s multimedia approach helps us be more transparent in the data and sources we use and it brings our audience into the story process. Our website and social media channels let us play with formatting and tone, put the user experience first, and ultimately better connect with our audience.
Below are examples of VPR's multimedia approach in 2019.
