Ahead of the November midterm elections, VPR is featuring interviews with candidates running for statewide office. Emily Peyton is the Liberty Union candidate for governor.This is Peyton's fourth time as a Vermont gubernatorial candidate. She lives in Putney and runs a business focused on building material made out of hemp.
Peyton spoke with VPR and discussed her positions on a tax-and-regulate system for marijuana, the state's Act 46 school district consolidation law, universal health care and Vermont's policy of sending some prisoners to facilities out of state.
