On August 28th, 1963, over a quarter of a million people descended on the streets of the capitol to advocate for civil rights. Kimberly Cheney was one of the marchers. He served as Vermont Attorney General from 1973 to 75, and is currently a lawyer in private practice in Montpelier. Kimberly Cheney talked to Vermont Edition about his experiences 50 years ago.
