Montpelier police say a 16-year-old boy is facing a driving under the influence charge after he was found passed out behind the wheel of a running car that had backed into a house in the Vermont capital.
Police say they were called to the Vine Street house at about 2:25 a.m. Sunday.
The name of the driver was not released.
A preliminary test showed the driver had a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit for an adult driver.
There were no injuries.
The driver was cited to appear in court later this month.
