A two-day grass roots music festival designed to celebrate snowboarding is getting underway in Windham.
The third annual Frendly Gathering will be held Friday and Saturday at Timber Ridge in Windham. The event was started by pro snowboarders Danny Davis and Jack Mitrani of the Frends Crew.
Organizers say the "Frendly" gathering is spelled without the letter "i'' because snowboarders believe there is no "I'' in Frends.
The festival will include bands, DJs, a skateboard ramp, hiking, swimming, yoga, live art and vendors.
