StompBoxTrio is a Western MA-based group that blends classic 20th-century American blues, rock, and soul music with 21st-century mojo to create a sonic, soulful, hip-shaking juggernaut all their own. Featuring Evelyn Harris (vocals, percussion), John Cabán (dobro, vocals, stompbox),and Paul Kochanski (bass, vocals, foot percussion), StompBoxTrio came together as a one-off gig project in the fall of 2017. Their collective sound, feel, and mutual love & admiration for American roots and blues music, its history & tradition propelled them to continue this eclectic trio to share with people of all ages for a long time to come.

The Twilight On The Tavern Lawn Series is a series of bluegrass, Americana, world, swing, and pop music summer concerts running every other Sunday from June 1 through August 24. All concerts begin at 6:00 pm in downtown Putney on the Putney Tavern lawn (bring a lawn chair or blanket) or at Next Stage at 15 Kimball Hill in case of rain. The series is sponsored by Next Stage, the Town of Putney, and many Putney area businesses and organizations. The concerts are free to the public (donations are accepted) and food will be available.
