Sara Grey and Kieron Means
Sara Grey and Kieron Means
Roots & Wings Coffeehouse at the UUCUV is proud to present Sara Grey. She is one of the finest proponents of traditional music in New England. She was raised in New Hampshire but lived in Scotland for over 40 years, where she collected and performed the local ballads, while researching the transfer of the songs to the Americas and their subsequent changes. As a result, Sara has a broad and nuanced repertoire, enhanced by her strong yet understated singing and five string banjo playing.
She will be performing with her son, singer and guitarist Kieron Means, who like his mother is passionate about keeping the traditional music alive.
