Celebrated author Edgar Allan Poe delivers a public lecture to a darkened theater and at last faces the question, “What has been the inspiration for your life’s work?” In response , the master of terror will guide his audience on a dreamlike and ghastly journey of love and obsession, vengeance and horror. Written by and starring Shelburne/Charlotte resident Alex Nalbach (author and director of last fall’s Shelburne Players production of “Murder at Eight”), this fictional imagining of Poe’s life will haunt and captivate you.
