Poe: An Adaptation

Poe: An Adaptation
Celebrated author Edgar Allan Poe delivers a public lecture to a darkened theater and at last faces the question, “What has been the inspiration for your life’s work?” In response , the master of terror will guide his audience on a dreamlike and ghastly journey of love and obsession, vengeance and horror. Written by and starring Shelburne/Charlotte resident Alex Nalbach (author and director of last fall’s Shelburne Players production of “Murder at Eight”), this fictional imagining of Poe’s life will haunt and captivate you. As the shadows gather this autumn, please join us for three performances of this world-premiere, one-man play. May not be suitable for young children.
