Vermont filmmaker Rocket's latest video series, 'Small Vermont Businesses in Small Vermont Towns,' features a profile on Northfield's Good Measure Brewing.

The town will pay $150,000 after Debra Kew, in a 2019 lawsuit, alleged that during a welfare check, two Northfield police officers forced her on the ground, handcuffed her and left her on the floor for 45 minutes. At the time of the incident, Kew was using a wheelchair and couldn’t walk without support.

Nearly half of the officers at the Northfield Police Department have been flagged by prosecutors for having potential credibility issues. Town officials say they’re not concerned about the department’s ability to carry out its duties.
