The night sky is endlessly fascinating, whether you consider it a giant connect-the-dots game or a path to better understanding our universe. Vermont Public helps you learn more about the night sky with Eye On The Night Sky, weekdays during All Things Considered.
Mark Breen hosts this 90-second star-gazing program designed to help you find and observe constellations and other objects visible to the eye in the night sky. The program is a production of the Fairbanks Museum and Vermont Public with funding provided by the Institute of Library and Museum Services and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB).
Science journalist Andrew Chaikin is an advisor to the program. Andy's a former NASA scientist, former editor of Sky and Telescope Magazine, and a regular science commentator on NPR.
