Send us your thoughts on the past year in the form of a haiku!

We're starting off 2019 in poetic form. Send us a haiku about your 2018: events, moments, thoughts. Or write one about your hopes for the new year.

For those of you who need a refresher, a haiku is a traditional Japanese poem usually comprised of three lines with a first line of five syllables, a second of seven syllables and a final line of five syllables.

Mitch Wertlieb will be riding along for the hour!

Broadcast live on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.

Jane Lindholm is the host, executive producer and creator of But Why: A Podcast For Curious Kids.
